Hoshiarpur:- MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa inaugurated the construction work of interlocking streets to be constructed in Bahadurpur area at a cost of Rs. 23 lakh 38 thousand. MLA Jimpa said that under this project, all the streets of Thathiara Mohalla of Bahadurpur will be constructed with interlocking tiles. He said that the Punjab government is continuously working for the expansion of uniform basic facilities in cities and villages.
Under this series, this development work has been started in Bahadurpur, due to which the residents of the area will get better facilities. He said that the streets constructed with interlocking tiles will not only be more durable, but will also enhance the beauty of the area and will also provide convenience to the people in transportation.
He directed the concerned officials to complete the construction work as per the quality standards and within the stipulated time frame, so that the people can get the benefit of it as soon as possible. MLA Jimpa said that more than 45 new tubewells have been installed in Hoshiarpur and development works worth more than Rs. 100 crore have been completed. He said that in the coming time also the work will continue at the same pace for the overall development of the area. The local residents thanked MLA Bram Shankar Jimpa for starting development works in the area. Councilor Parveen Saini said that this project will fulfill the long-standing demand of the people of Thathiara Mohalla and they will get better basic facilities.
