Hansi, October 3 (Dinkar Gawri):- Under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, the Women and Child Development Department organised Angan Milan Mahotsav programmes today at Ramlal Colony, Baba Mirchunath Ashram, New Subhash Nagar, Dhani Thakariyan and Sindhar in the Hansi area. Women, children and rural residents participated enthusiastically in the programmes and received information about various public welfare schemes of the government and departmental services. BJP State General Secretary Gopal Sharma attended the programme as the Chief Guest, while District President Ashok Saini, General Secretary Dharamvir Rateria, CDPO Neelam, Hariram Saini, Surendra Kangra, Jaikumar Pilot, Ramkumar JE, Supervisor Saloni and others were also present.

During the Angan Milan Mahotsav, women presented a special ‘No-Cost Recipe’ demonstration. They shared methods of preparing nutritious dishes using locally available and household ingredients at minimal cost. Through this activity, the message of promoting a balanced and nutritious diet in families and paying special attention to children’s nutrition was conveyed.

State General Secretary Gopal Sharma interacted with the women and rural residents present at the programme and provided information about various schemes and services of the Women and Child Development Department. He encouraged women to avail themselves of government schemes according to their eligibility and to give priority to the health, nutrition and education of children.

Children from Anganwadi centres also participated enthusiastically in the programme. The children displayed their talent through drawing, poetry and other creative activities. The objective of these activities was to promote creativity, self-confidence and expression among children. The guests present at the programme appreciated the children’s presentations and encouraged them.

At the conclusion of the Mahotsav, Anganwadi workers and helpers who had been working with dedication at the Anganwadi centres were honoured with certificates of appreciation. The honoured workers and helpers described the recognition as encouragement for their work and expressed their resolve to deliver departmental services to the people in an even better manner.

District President Ashok Saini said that these programmes organised under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan brought women, children and rural residents together on one platform and conveyed an effective message of increasing awareness about nutrition, health, women’s empowerment and public welfare schemes.
