Under the leadership of District Education Officer (Secondary) Dr. Ginni Duggal, a meeting of all upper primary government, aided and private school heads of the district was organized to raise awareness about various educational programs being run in the state. This meeting was held at Amity University, Mohali in which more than 500 school heads participated.
During the meeting, Dr. Ginni Duggal gave detailed information about several important programs being run for schools — such as state level games, examination center management, ‘Ek Pet Maa Ke Naam’, Mission Chardi Kala, International Punjabi Language Olympiad, Developed India Buildathon 2025, SHVR (Swachh Avam Harit Vidyalaya Rating), Green School Program, Green Hackathon and U Dice etc.
On this occasion, he also answered the questions of the school heads, so that the participation of schools in these programs could be further strengthened. Dr. Duggal said that such meetings are very helpful in the smooth implementation of the programs being run by the government, because during them, the problems of the school heads can be resolved on the spot.
On this occasion, Deputy District Education Officer (Secondary) S. Angrez Singh along with other officials of the Education Department were also present.
