Medical Practitioners Association has called for fierce struggles by organizing a districtlevel convention

Nawanshahr, December 4:- Medical Practitioners Association Punjab Reg 295 has called for fierce struggles by organizing a district-level convention of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar district at the local Vishwakarma Temple.
In the convention, Mr. Dhanna Mal Goyal, State President, arrived as the chief guest. This convention was organized with the aim of strengthening health services in rural areas and conveying the long-pending demands of medical practitioners to the government.
In which they unitedly emphasized their main demands such as: government recognition, formulation of a firm policy, provision of better health facilities.
In his address, the State President said that medical practitioners are the backbone of the health system in the villages of Punjab but they still have to face many challenges. They appealed to the government to immediately listen to the demands of medical practitioners and formulate a concrete policy to give them government recognition so that the rural people can get better health facilities.
The convention passed a resolution warning the government that if their demands are not accepted soon, the struggle will be intensified. The leaders have also demanded that the government give time for the meeting soon.
On behalf of the fraternal organizations, Kulwinder Singh Baraich, State President IFTU, Jasbir Singh Deep, State Press Secretary IFTU, Nirmal Singh Aujla, President National Farmers Union, Gurdial Rakkar, District President IFTU, Harinder Singh Chahal, District President Kisan Union, Dr. Hartesh Pahwa, Dr. Sunita from Sunita Charitable Hospital Balachaur specially participated.
Indian Federation of Trade Unions (IFTU) State President Kulwinder Waraich, State Press Secretary Jasbir Deep while speaking assured the medical practitioners' organization that IFTU stands firmly for their rights in these difficult times. They said that medical practitioners perform an important service to the society, but often they have to face unnecessary hardship.
They assured that IFTU will fully support them in their struggle at every level to protect the legitimate rights of medical practitioners. Wherever the organization faces any hardship or injustice, IFTU will immediately raise its voice in their favor.
After this assurance of the IFTU President, the representatives of the medical practitioners' organization thanked him and said that this support received from IFTU is a great strength for them. The convention was attended by the state vice president of the organization, Sarb Shri Dildar Singh Chahal, state committee member, Dharampal District Chairman, Tek Chand, Dharamjit General Secretary Ram Ji Das, cashier Jaspal Sharma, district committee member Kashmir Banga, vice president Bimal, vice cashier Satpal, advisor Dr. Sandeep Joshi, deputy secretary Kulvir, action committee president, action committee member Jagdish, district block presidents Harjinder Singh, Prashotam Lal, Rakesh Kumar Sharma, Sukhjad, Ashok Verma Sharma, Kulwinder, Balvir Singh, Tajinder Jyot Gian Singh Mander, general secretary Balachaur. Finally, the state president Dhanna Mal Goyal, district and block office bearers were honored with medals.
