Jaito, November 28: Due to the vacancies of principals in many government senior secondary schools and head teachers in many government high schools in Punjab, where government work is being affected, along with this, the principals and head teachers present in other schools are also being troubled every day and the education of students is also being badly affected.
Apart from this, the claims of the Bhagwant Mann government, which has been ruling Punjab for the last four years, to bring an education revolution in Punjab are also proving to be hollow. In this regard, Government School Teachers Union Punjab State President Surinder Kumar Puari, Executive General Secretary Jinder Pilot, Press Secretary Tehal Singh Sarabha and State Advisor Prem Chawla have said that due to the vacancies of school heads, many problems arise regarding school management and government posts.
At the same time, senior in-charge teachers also have to spend their time in non-academic activities along with their study periods. Which also has a negative impact on the education of the students. The organization has demanded from the Education Minister Punjab Government that the promotion quota posts of school principals and head teachers should be filled as soon as possible by promoting qualified teachers.
And apart from this, the posts available for direct recruitment should also be filled through direct recruitment. If the Punjab Government wants to make real improvements in education in government schools, then all the vacant posts should be filled immediately, leaving the policy of immediate recruitment.
