Chandigarh, August 24:- Former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia today interacted with young entrepreneurs and business students at Rayat Bahra University (RBU), sharing his views on entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership and the role of youth in shaping the future of the country. This special interaction was organized by the Entrepreneurship Cell of the university.
On this occasion, Dr. Simi Prakash, Director, Entrepreneurship Cell, said that the objective of this interaction was to inspire the youth in the fields of entrepreneurship, innovation and leadership. He said that during the program, young entrepreneurs got an opportunity to share their ideas and get important information and guidance regarding the challenges faced while setting up business ventures and taking them forward successfully.
Stressing the importance of developing an entrepreneurial mindset among the youth, Manish Sisodia said that the youth should move forward with determination, innovation and a strong commitment to the cause to turn their ideas into reality. He said that to give the right direction to the creative potential of the youth, there is a need to create an environment that encourages skill development, innovative thinking and new opportunities. He said that entrepreneurship is not limited to setting up businesses, but its purpose is also to identify problems, find innovative solutions to them.
Chairman of Rayat Bahra University Gurvinder Singh Bahra was also present on the occasion. He shared his views on the important role of universities in promoting entrepreneurship and empowering the younger generation.
Vice Chancellor of the university Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Kumar, while welcoming Manish Sisodia, shared his views on the efforts being made by the university to promote entrepreneurship and innovation. Vice-Chairman Gurinder Singh Bahra was also present on the occasion.
During the interaction, young entrepreneurs and students participated enthusiastically and interacted with Manish Sisodia on various issues and shared their experiences. At the end of the program, the need to further strengthen collaboration between educational institutions, industry and young entrepreneurs was emphasized, so that besides creating new opportunities for the youth, it can also contribute to the economic development of the country.
