Hisar (Dinkar Gavdi):- The Akhil Bharatiya Agrawal Sammelan is organising a grand celebration of Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti on October 10 at the historic Red Fort in New Delhi. Representatives of the Agrawal community, social workers and office-bearers from various states from across the country will participate in this national-level programme. Haryana will also have special and significant participation in the event.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Haryana Cabinet Minister Vipul Goyal, former Jharkhand minister Banna Gupta, along with several public representatives and dignitaries, are expected to attend the programme. National President of the Akhil Bharatiya Agrawal Sammelan Basant Mittal, National General Secretary Gopal Goyal, National Treasurer Nathuram Jain, along with office-bearers from various states and members of the community, will also be present at this historic event.

Haryana State President Vipin Goyal said that Maharaja Agrasen is not only the revered figure and source of inspiration for the Agrawal community, but also a symbol of the great tradition of social harmony, equality, service and mutual cooperation. The social system established by Maharaja Agrasen conveys the message of respecting every individual and collectively participating in the joys and sorrows of every family.

He said that Maharaja Agrasen’s message of “one brick and one rupee” embodies the spirit of taking economically weaker people of society along on the path of progress. Even today, his thoughts remain relevant for social unity, service and nation-building.

The समारोह organised against the historic backdrop of the Red Fort will also feature cultural presentations. Cultural programmes, bhajans, music and inspirational programmes based on the life, ideals and social message of Maharaja Agrasen will be presented. Through these presentations, an effort will be made to connect the new generation with the thoughts of Maharaja Agrasen and the glorious history of the community.

Vipin Goyal said that the Haryana team will participate in this national event along with a large number of community members and showcase the state’s strong social unity and organisational strength. He appealed to members of the Agrawal community across the state to reach Delhi in maximum numbers and become part of this historic event.

He said that organising Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti on the historic land of the Red Fort is an occasion of pride and emotional connection for the entire Agrawal community. The समारोह will serve as a medium to take Maharaja Agrasen’s thoughts to the new generation across the country and further strengthen the spirit of service, cooperation and unity in society.
