Hoshiarpur:- An important meeting was held today regarding the reception and arrangements for the Nagar Kirtan dedicated to the 350th year of the unique and great martyrdom of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. The meeting was chaired by Lok Sabha member Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal and MLA Dr. Ishank Kumar, in which the Sant Samaj specially participated. SDM Hoshiarpur Gursimranjit Kaur was also present on the occasion.
During the meeting, the Lok Sabha member and MLA, along with the Sant Samaj, took a detailed review of the Nagar Kirtan route passing through the Chabbewal assembly constituency. They reviewed the responsibilities of each important part of the route, gathering management, security arrangements, reception places and langar places in detail. The officials were instructed to ensure cleanliness, electricity, water, medical services and traffic management arrangements in the entire area in advance, so that the devotees do not have to face any kind of difficulty.
Lok Sabha member Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal said that the martyrdom of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji is the highest message of protection of humanity and religion. On such a sacred occasion, the Nagar Kirtan will be welcomed with full devotion, discipline and excellent management. Appreciating the cooperation of religious institutions, he said that the participation of all institutions will play an important role in making this event a success.
MLA Dr. Ishank Kumar said that all the necessary arrangements on the route of the Nagar Kirtan will be completed on priority basis. He assured that with the cooperation of the administration and police, every arrangement will be implemented in the best possible manner. He said that reception, water service and langar will be organized at different places in the area. Both the Lok Sabha member and the MLA jointly said that this occasion is a symbol of devotion and unity for the entire society.
Therefore, no stone will be left unturned in the arrangements. He thanked all the institutions and administrative officials and said that with mutual cooperation, this Nagar Kirtan will be completed in a historic and exemplary manner.
