Ratia, September 06:- Continuing its 36-year tradition of honor ceremonies, Lok Chetna Manch Haryana organized a felicitation function on Teachers' Day at Global Star Library, Ratia, where three teachers were honored. The felicitated educators included Lecturer Satpal Singh Dhillon, Lecturer Charanjeet Singh, and Lecturer Shashi Bala. The function was presided over by the Manch's chief advisor, Tejinder Singh Aujla.
Delivering the welcome address, Manch Chairman Dr. Naib Singh Mander stated that honoring a teacher is truly an honor for the entire society. He highlighted that teachers play a vital role in sculpting a healthy society and nurturing future generations. Dr. Mander noted that Lok Chetna Manch Haryana has been consistently organizing annual teacher felicitation programs since 1990, having honored 84 dedicated and prominent educators from the region so far. Continuing this tradition, three teachers were selected by the selection committee this year.
Krishna Singh Chitrakar, General Secretary of the Manch, conducted the stage and presented the report of the Manch's activities and work. During the event, Harpreet Singh Bhullar read out the citation for Lecturer Shashi Bala, while Happy Singh Sethi presented the citations for Lecturer Satpal Singh Dhillon and Lecturer Charanjeet Singh. The honored teachers were presented with shawls, commendation letters, and mementos.
In his presidential address, Chief Advisor Tejinder Singh Aujla mentioned that Lok Chetna Manch Haryana has been actively raising social awareness through various social and literary activities for the past 36 years. Honoring teachers remains an essential component of this social initiative. He extended his congratulations to the awardees and wished them a bright future.
The event was attended by educationist Surender Singh Bola, awardees Lecturer Shashi Bala, Lecturer Charanjeet Singh, and Lecturer Satpal Singh Dhillon, Advocate Harman Singh Dhillon, Advocate Gurpreet Singh Mander, Rajveer Kaur, Neelam Rani, Beant Kaur Mander, Manjeet Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Vikram Saini, Mandeep, Khushboo, Kushab Goyal, Asmeet, Narender, Keshav, alongside other Manch members and teachers.
