Una, December 30- A partial amendment has been made to the special exemption granted to liquor-licensed establishments in Una district on December 31st. Now, all establishments serving liquor, including bars, clubs, pubs, and restaurants located in the district, will only be allowed to remain open until 12 midnight on December 31, 2025. Previously, this special exemption was granted until 1 AM.
According to the corrigendum issued by Una District Magistrate Jatin Lal, this amendment has been made to the previously issued orders. The orders clarify that this special exemption for liquor-licensed establishments will be valid only until midnight on December 31, 2025. However, all other establishments serving food will be allowed to remain open until 1 AM on December 31st.
The orders also clarify that from January 1, 2026, the previous system will be reinstated, and all the terms and provisions of the previous order, including the closure of liquor-licensed establishments at 10 PM, will remain in effect.
The District Magistrate has directed all concerned departments, authorities, and license holders to ensure strict compliance with the orders. In case of violation of the orders, strict legal action will be taken under the relevant acts and rules.
