Hoshiarpur:- Lamrin Tech Skills University Punjab celebrated National Sports Day by involving students and youth in Khelo India Dialogue, which featured a live telecast of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s interaction with the youth.
On this inspiring occasion, Coordinator Ratan Kaur said that the students took a pledge to stay away from all forms of drugs and dedicate at least one hour every day to physical activity. She said that such initiatives will contribute to building a healthy, fit and drug-free India.
The objective of this programme was to motivate the students to adopt a healthy lifestyle, be physically active and understand the importance of sports in promoting physical and mental fitness.
Vice Chancellor Dr. A. S. Chawla appreciated the efforts made by the NSS volunteers of the university and encouraged the students to actively participate in sports and fitness related activities. The university reiterated its commitment to empowering the youth, promoting fitness and contributing to the vision of a healthy, strong and developed India.
