Haroli/Una, April 23 (Rajveer Chopra):— On Thursday, the birth anniversary of Lakha Data Peer Ji was celebrated with immense pomp and reverence in Gram Panchayat Singa, located within the Haroli subdivision. The event was jointly presided over by Giani Baba Singa—the Pradhan (Head) of Gram Panchayat Singa—and the spiritual successor (Gaddinashin), Baba Hoshiar Singh Aman.
The birth anniversary celebrations commenced with *bhajan-kirtan* (devotional singing), during which Kuldeep Mahi extolled the virtues of Peer Ji in his melodious voice. Following this, the 'Gill Sisters' enthralled the congregation with their renditions of devotional songs such as "Haal-e-Dil Kisko Sunaye," "Peeran Da Hai Peer," "Mera Peer Giani Baba," "Kite Ishq Da Rog Na Baithi," and "Kuli Raah Vich Pai Aasa, Tere Aavanda-Jaanda Tak Di Rahiye." Their performances moved the devotees to such an extent that they were compelled to sway and dance in spiritual ecstasy.
