Jodhpur- Eighteen people died in a tragic road accident in Matoda area of ??Jodhpur district on Sunday evening. A tempo traveler collided with a truck parked on the roadside. All the people killed in the accident were returning to Jodhpur after visiting the Kolayat temple and are said to be residents of Sursagar area of ??Jodhpur.
Phalodi Superintendent of Police Kundan Kanwaria has confirmed the accident. According to reports, the major accident took place in Matoda police station area of ??Phalodi district of Rajasthan. A tempo traveler collided with a truck parked on the road. Around 18 people died in the accident. All of them were returning to Jodhpur after visiting the Kolayat temple. It is said that all the deceased were residents of Sursagar area of ??Jodhpur.
As soon as the news of the incident was received, Jodhpur Police Commissioner Om Prakash Mathuradas Mathur reached MDM Hospital. He met with the hospital's Superintendent Dr. Vikas Rajpurohit and reviewed the treatment arrangements for the injured and issued necessary instructions.
