Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, July 17:- With the aim of providing better employment opportunities to the youth, the District Bureau of Employment and Enterprise (DBEE) and Model Career Centre are organizing a job fair on July 20, 2026 (Monday) at Government ITI, Phase-5, opposite GMADA Sports Complex, Mohali. The fair will be held from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Providing information in this regard, Deputy Director of DBEE, SAS Nagar, Mr. Harpreet Singh Manshahia, stated that this job fair is being organized as part of the Punjab government's initiative to provide employment to candidates.
He mentioned that major companies including Swaraj Engines Pvt. Ltd., Alena Autos Industries, Indian Polymers Industries, Semiconductor Laboratory, House Clothing, Godrej & Boyce Manufacturing Company Ltd., Tech Engineer, Deltron Pvt. Ltd., Gillard Electronics Pvt. Ltd., M-Wac DMC Pvt. Ltd., Nikons Vastu (New Chandigarh), The Vanity by Simrat, M.O.I. Engineering Pvt. Ltd., Tynor Orthotics Pvt. Ltd., Kaveri Services Pvt. Ltd., Edico India, and Inbrew Beverages Pvt. Ltd., among others, will participate in the job fair.
He stated that these companies will select candidates for various positions with qualifications including 10th grade, 12th grade, ITI, and Graduation. The selected candidates will be given a salary as per the company rules, and their appointment will primarily be in Mohali.
Mr. Manshahia appealed to the candidates to take maximum advantage of this job fair. He said that candidates should ensure they arrive on time in formal attire, bringing all their original educational certificates, photocopies, and an updated resume.
He also clarified that no TA/DA will be provided to the candidates attending this placement camp.
