Chandigarh, October 8 - An important agreement (MoU) was signed in Osaka on Wednesday between the Haryana government and the famous Japanese company Daikin Industries Limited. Under this MoU, Daikin company will establish a Research and Development (R&D) center in Haryana with an investment of Rs 1000 crore. Youth will get employment opportunities.
A high-level delegation is on a visit to Japan under the leadership of Haryana Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini with the aim of attracting foreign investment and increasing industrial activities in Haryana at the global level. Meanwhile, an MoU was signed today at the R&D center of Daikin Industries Limited in Osaka in the presence of the Chief Minister. On the MoU, Haryana Commissioner and Secretary of the Industries and Commerce Department Dr. Amit Agarwal and Shri Shogo Endo Deputy Managing Director signed on behalf of Daikin Industries Limited.
The delegation includes Haryana Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh, Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Rajesh Khullar, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Arun Kumar Gupta, Managing Director of HSIIDC Dr. Yash Garg and other senior officials.
Under the MoU, Daikin Company will set up a new Research and Development Center in the field of innovation and technology in Haryana. This new center will focus on the development of modern technologies and sustainable industrial solutions. Through this, it is being considered a big step towards making Haryana a leading center of research and innovation at the global level.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini said that the Haryana Government is committed to promoting innovation, research and advanced manufacturing in the state. This investment by Daikin will not only create employment but will also play a significant role in connecting Haryana to the global technology network.
This partnership will not only strengthen the industrial capacity of the state but will also help in establishing Haryana as a global innovation destination.
Senior officials of Daikin said that this R&D center to be established in Haryana will be a major research center of the company. This will further strengthen the relations and business activities between Haryana and Japan.
