Sirsa, 27 July:- In MSG Bharti Khel Gaon, Dera Sacha Sauda Sirsa, in the four-day CBSE North Zone-2 Boys Swimming Championship going on, on the second day enthusiasm was seen at its peak in the swimming pool. As morning dawned, players got busy preparing for their respective scheduled competitions. On this occasion, in competitions of different age groups, players gave excellent performance and proved their talent as winner and runner-up. Many competitions were so tough that the difference between them was only a few milliseconds. After every race, the echo of applause from the spectators and the enthusiasm of victory on the faces of the players was giving the message of sportsmanship throughout the campus. During the second day, the pressure of competitions appeared more than the first day.
Now the players' eyes were not only on giving good performance, but also on securing place in the next session. This was the reason that every competitor entered the pool with full self-confidence and strategy. Coaches were also continuously keeping an eye on the technique, speed and timing of the players and were seen giving necessary suggestions after every race. Players participating in the competition said that competitions of this level are no less than an exam for them. Even on the second day, discipline and arrangements at the venue remained the center of attraction. Sewadars remained continuously engaged in helping players, officials and parents while medical team, security arrangements, clean drinking water, food and resting places arrangements did not let the competitors coming from outside feel any inconvenience.
Competitor Akalbir Singh who came from Faridabad with his father Manjit Singh said that earlier he had already proved his mettle in National and State competitions, who today in Sirsa also looked satisfied with his result. Manjit Singh said that players are getting every facility which is a big thing. He expressed satisfaction towards the arrangements made by the organizers. Krish Mohindra who came from Faridabad to ensure participation in swimming said that the modern electronic timing system being used in the competition has also attracted everyone's attention. He said that with accurate results being announced in a few moments, the competition appeared completely transparent and technically correct. Krish's father said that we have seen such a planned and service-oriented area for the first time.
He told that he has been not only to North but also to many places in South India, been to big universities but the facilities that have been received here are really praiseworthy. The biggest challenge for children and parents is that wherever they go, they should get basic facilities so that their practice and results are not affected, but the arrangement made in this stadium has no parallel. Rahul, Karan, Sunil, Ramnivas, Surbhi etc. who reached with their children in the competition said that parents kept boosting the enthusiasm of the players throughout. After every successful race, players were welcomed with applause. Many parents said that with such programs, self-confidence, discipline and spirit of healthy competition develops in children.
