Mohali: The installation ceremony of the newly elected teams of Lions Club Mohali S A S Nagar (Registered), Lions Club Mohali Disha, and Leo Club Mohali Smiling was held at Hotel Shanti Sagar, Sector-118, TDI, Mohali. The event was conducted by MJF Lion J S Rahi, and the Chief Guest, MJF Lion Ajay Goyal, First Vice District Governor of Lions Club District 321-F, was welcomed with due respect.
He was accompanied by MJF Lion Naresh Goyal, Second Vice District Governor of Lions Club District 321-F, Past District Governor MJF Lion Yogesh Soni, Region Chairperson MJF Lion Sonia Arora, Zone Chairperson Lion Sanjeev Sethi, Lion K P Sharma, Lion Shyam Gautam, and Club Advisor Lion Jaswinder Singh, along with other club office bearers and members.
The newly elected team was sworn in by Past District Governor Lion Yogesh Soni, who also provided them with an orientation and apprised them of their responsibilities towards the club. Keeping in mind Mission 1.5, Second Vice District Governor Lion Naresh Goyal inducted the new members into the club and presented them with Lions International pins, informing them of their responsibilities towards the club.
Lion Agarwal, Lion Tejinder Kaur, and Leo Ayush Bhasin were unanimously elected as Presidents of the newly elected teams of Lions Club and Leo Club, respectively. Lion Rajinder Chauhan, Lion Kanwalpreet Kaur, and Leo Gagandeep Singh were unanimously elected as Secretaries, and Lion Sunny Goyal, Lion Rupinder Kaur, and Leo Reet Narula were unanimously elected as Treasurers. They were welcomed with garlands of flowers. Following this, the newly elected President of the club, Lion K.K. Agarwal, and Lion Tejinder Kaur, provided information about the services rendered by the club to the community and society in the past months and assured continued selfless service in the future. The club's Charter President, Lion Amrik Singh Mohali, advised the newly elected office bearers of the Lions and Leo Clubs to actively participate in community service and contribute to society.
Finally, MJF Lion Harpreet Singh Attwal thanked the guests, office bearers, and club members for attending the event and promised the club members that they would remain committed to Lionism and would strive to create a better society by fulfilling their responsibilities and services to the community.
