Chandigarh: The World Punjabi Organization (WPO) hosted a special felicitation dinner in honor of Punjab Industry Minister Sanjeev Arora. On this occasion, the Minister invited leading industrialists and entrepreneurs from Delhi, Gurugram, and Faridabad to participate in the Progressive Punjab Investors Summit to be held in Mohali on March 13–15. The event was graced by the gracious presence of Punjab Finance Minister Sardar Harpal Singh Cheema and Education Minister Sardar Harjot Singh Bains. The event was attended by leading industrialists, entrepreneurs, builders, developers, hospitality sector representatives, and distinguished members of the WPO.
In his address on the occasion, WPO International President and Member of Parliament Dr. Vikramjit Singh Sahni commended Sanjeev Arora's visionary leadership and his continued efforts to accelerate Punjab's industrial and investment landscape. He also praised the proactive role played by Sardar Harpal Singh Cheema and Sardar Harjot Singh Bains in strengthening financial governance, education, and skill development, which are key pillars of sustainable industrial development.
Highlighting the state government's progressive policies, investor-friendly environment, and renewed focus on global partnerships, Dr. Sahni expressed confidence that Punjab is poised to emerge as a major destination for domestic and international investment.
In his address, Sanjeev Arora expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Vikramjit Singh Sahni and the World Punjabi Organization and appreciated their continued support in promoting Punjab's industrial revival. He stated that with progressive policies, robust infrastructure, and dedicated investor facilitation, Punjab is entering a new phase of industrial expansion and called upon industry to partner with the state to drive innovation, manufacturing growth, and job creation.
