Indian Farmers Union Ekta Ugrahan Haryana officials met with the ASP in Ratia regarding incidents of cable theft

Ratia, January 27: Officials of the Indian Farmers Union (Ekta Ugrahan) Haryana met with the ASP in Ratia regarding check fraud being committed by commission agents and the continuous incidents of cable theft from farmers' tube wells.
The delegation included Ajay Sidhani, Secretary of BKU Ekta Ugrahan Haryana, District President Nirbhay (Ratia), and Ratia City President Karam Singh.
Giving this information, Secretary Gagan Bhullar said that the officials apprised ASP Divanshi Singla of the farmers' problems and demanded that strict action be taken against the commission agents guilty of check fraud and that the incidents of cable theft from tube wells be stopped immediately.
The ASP assured the officials that a thorough investigation would be conducted into the relevant cases and action would be taken against the culprits according to the law. Farmers Hardeep Singh, Babbi Singh, Gurdeep Singh, Sarabjit Singh, and Kinder Singh were also present.
