Jaito, December 12:- In connection with the Zila Parishad and Block Samiti elections, Faridkot Police conducted a flag march in many villages of the area. This flag march was led by DIG Faridkot Range Mrs. Nilambari Jagdale and Dr. Pragya Jain SSP Faridkot. A large number of police personnel were also present on this occasion.
DIG Faridkot Range Mrs. Nilambari Jagdale, while giving information, said that strict security arrangements have been made in Faridkot district, under which about 800 police personnel have been deployed at the booths, apart from this, a large number of patrolling parties have also been deployed. He said that along with this, PAP teams, ARP companies and commando personnel have also been provided so that the law and order situation is maintained.
He said that the police administration is keeping a close watch on sensitive villages. No mischievous element will be spared in these villages and the police will fulfill its responsibility of conducting fair elections well. Giving information in this regard, Dr. Pragya Jain SSP Faridkot said that strict security arrangements have been made by Faridkot Police to conduct the elections in a peaceful manner.
He said that, the police parties are continuously conducting flag marches so that people can exercise their right to vote without any fear. SSP Faridkot Dr. Pragya Jain said that voters should exercise their right to vote properly in these elections without any fear and greed and if any complaint is received in any village about any drug or any other greed being given to the voters, immediate action will be taken against them.
In this flag march, Shri Tarlochan Singh DSP (Sub-Division) Faridkot, Shri Jagtar Singh (C&W) Faridkot, Shri Naveen Kumar DSP (Local) Faridkot along with the Chief Officer of the police station, ARP teams, traffic personnel, PCR teams and about 250 police personnel also joined them. This flag march started from Sadar police station Faridkot and this flag march passed through villages like Machaki Kala, Jhotiwala, Golewala, Ghugiana etc.
