Patiala:- To protest against the black laws brought by the anti-people BJP Modi government such as the Electricity Bill 2025 which brings darkness to the lives of the common people, the anti-farmer Seed Bill 2025, to withdraw the bulldozer on the MNREGA scheme, to repeal the four codes against the workers and to unleash a people's movement to defeat the anti-people communal-fascist agenda of the RSS-BJP Modi government, a meeting of the joint front of public organizations of Patiala district was held under the leadership of Hari Singh Don Kalan, Darsan Belu Majra, Sukhpal Singh Kadrabad and Pralad Singh Niyal.
In which it was decided to join the dharna on 16 January by rolling wheels! Addressing this meeting, leaders of the Democratic Kisan Sabha Malkit Singh Niyal, Hardev Singh Samana, Suresh Kumar and Kuldeep Singh Ghagga said that if such black bills become laws, then we will have to light oil lamps again because electricity will become very expensive, with the passing of the Seed Bill, our entire agriculture will be badly affected.
These leaders further said that there are already no means of employment in the villages, what was available in a rough and broken form from MGNREGA will also go away. With the Modi government abolishing the 44 laws made by the workers after years of struggle and with the implementation of four anti-labor labor codes, the daily wage of the workers will become 12 hours. This will destroy the lives of the workers.
They called for a stand against these attacks by the central government.
