Hisar, March 19:- By the boundless grace of Mother Bhagwati, on the auspicious occasion of the first day of Navratri today, hundreds of "Akhand Jyots" (eternal flames)—believed to fulfill all desires—were lit before the shrines of Goddess Durga, Goddess Kali, and Goddess Santoshi at the Hanuman Mandir Mandal Trust in Moti Bazar. These flames were kindled using a sacred eternal flame specially brought from Jwalaji and will continue to burn continuously until Navami. 
To ensure that all the flames burn uninterruptedly day and night, the temple trust has arranged for separate groups of priests to attend to them during the day and night shifts. Following the lighting of the eternal flames, a propitious *Aarti* (ritual worship) was performed for Mother Bhagwati, and *Bhog* (sacred food offering) was presented. The entire temple premises resonated with chants of "Jai Mata Di" (Victory to the Mother Goddess). All devotees present received *Prasad* (sacred food) consisting of *Halwa*, *Chole* (chickpeas), *Peda*, and fruits; additionally, they were given the "Khazana" (sacred treasure) from the Mother's shrine, while married women received *Sindoor* (vermilion) and *Mehendi* (henna) as a blessing for eternal marital bliss.
Temple President Ramesh Kumar Lohia and General Secretary Anoop Gupta announced that, starting today, the recitation of the *Maa Durga Saptashati* scripture has also commenced—led by learned priests under the guidance of the temple's head priest, Pandit Rajesh Shastri. This spiritual observance will conclude on March 26th, coinciding with the festival of *Shri Durga Ashtami*, with a *Havan* (sacred fire ritual), *Aarti*, *Kanya Pujan* (worship of young girls), and the distribution of *Prasad*. In celebration of Navratri, the entire temple complex has been adorned with enchanting and captivating decorative lighting.
