Hisar: The Holi festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the famous Sri Tirupati Balaji Dham. Devotees were seen filled with devotion while playing Holi with flowers. On this occasion, devotees played Holi without water and were also given the opportunity to be drenched in a shower of perfume. Several famous bhajan singers and their troupes enthralled the audience with their bhajans. Devotees danced with emotion as they listened to the Holi bhajans. Devotees visited the temples of various deities, including Sri Tirupati Balaji, Mata Padmavati, and Mata Godamba.
A large number of devotees from various regions participated in the Holi festival, and the singers enthralled the devotees with their bhajans. Devotees showered flowers on each other and wished each other a happy Holi. Special arrangements were made for this festival with a variety of flowers. At the conclusion of the festival, all devotees partook of a sattvik food prasad.
Devotees participating in the Holi festival visited the temples of Sri Venkatesh Bhagwan Ji, Sri Padmavati Mata Ji, Sri Godamba Mata Ji, Sri Garuda Ji, Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Ji, Sri Sudarshan Ji, Sri Ramanuja Swami Ji, Sri Shathkop Swami Ji, Sri Varavara Muni Ji, and Sri Hanuman Ji, offered prayers and made wishes. The 42-foot-tall golden Sri Garuda pillar, Balipeetham, Sri Tirupati Yagyashala, and 71-foot-tall Gopuram installed at Sri Tirupati Dham were also particularly noteworthy. Built in the South Indian style near the toll plaza on Agroha Road in Hisar, Sri Tirupati Dham is working to connect people with spiritual and social concerns. Not only are various events held here on special days and occasions, but a procession of the deity is also taken out every Friday. The crowd of devotees on these occasions is unending.
