Una, March 22 (Narayan Prabhakar):- On the occasion of the Martyrdom Day of the great freedom fighter Bhagat Singh, a grand and heartfelt tribute program was organized by the Una unit of the *Sarvjan Sanrakshan Samiti* (Committee for the Protection of All) at a private hotel in the city. The objective of the program was to inspire the youth and various sections of society with Bhagat Singh's ideals, his spirit of sacrifice, and his patriotism.
The event was graced by the dignified presence of numerous dignitaries, led by District Convener Rakesh Chaudhary and Dr. Rajiv Major. All those present paid their respects and offered floral tributes by laying wreaths before a portrait of Bhagat Singh.
The highlight of the program was a theatrical performance presented by the *Aksh Rang Manch* of Samrala, Punjab, which portrayed Bhagat Singh's life, his revolutionary ideas, and the supreme sacrifice he made for the nation in a highly impactful and vivid manner. Through the play, it was demonstrated how he attained an immortal place in history by sacrificing his life for the country's freedom at such a young age. The powerful acting of the artists deeply moved the audience and imbued the entire atmosphere with a spirit of patriotism.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Rajiv Major stated in his address that Bhagat Singh is not merely an individual, but an ideology—one that continues to inspire the youth today to fight against injustice and to work in the national interest. He emphasized that, in the present times, there is a need for us to internalize his ideals in our own lives and to play an active role in bringing about positive change within society.
At the conclusion of the program, all those present pledged to work towards the unity, integrity, and prosperity of the nation, and resolved to forever cherish the sacrifices made by the martyrs. This event served not only as a means to pay tribute but also succeeded in disseminating a message of patriotism and social awareness throughout the community. On this occasion, Advocates Vijay Nair, Vrij Rana, Pankaj Sharma, Sunil Chaulia, Anoop Kesari, Arsh Kumar, and Niket Kumar—along with Sanjeev Gupta, Akash Rana, Harish, and Amit Valmiki (State President of the Maharishi Valmiki Guru Ravidas Youth Ekta Mahasabha), Ishat Dhugga, and other distinguished citizens—were present.
