Patiala, September 12:- Class IV employees, both temporary and permanent, of the Health Department held gate rallies outside health institutions for the second consecutive day. A rally had been held outside the residence of the Health Minister in the past few days, following which the Health Minister had issued an invitation for talks on September 15. As part of the series of action programmes chalked out by The Class Fourth Government Employees Union Punjab (1680), District Committee Patiala, gate rallies were held and demands including implementation of minimum wages, updating the data of outsourced employees and ending the practice of contractual employment were raised again. The actions were led by State President Comrade Darshan Singh Lubana.
Today, a strong protest was held in front of the offices at Mata Kaushalya Hospital, located at the Medical Superintendent and DMC, and notice was taken of the unnecessary delay in implementing minimum wages and updating the data. The leaders present on the occasion included Darshan Singh Lubana, Ram Lal Rama, Shiv Charan, Dharminder, Rajesh Golu, Prakash Lubana, Rajesh Kumar, Prem Chawla, Sukhdev Singh Jhandi, Meenu, Nathni, Kamlesh Goni, Mumtaz, Satinarayan Goni and others.
