Karnal, October 26: Late Saturday night in Karnal, a minor altercation escalated into a bloody incident. Narendra, a resident of Lalupura village, was stabbed to death. He had gone to a dhaba with two friends to eat, but returned with only his dead body.
At around 8 p.m. on Saturday night, Narendra told his father, Vedpal, that he would be back in a while and was just going to have dinner with his friends. But fate had other plans. Around 1 a.m., a call came from the hospital, and the family was devastated.
A clash at the dhaba, followed by stabbings:
According to reports, Narendra arrived at Rajendra Dhaba on a bike with his friends, Shivam and Robin, also known as Bunty. They had an altercation with three unidentified youths already present there.
The situation escalated to the point where the three attackers pulled out knives and repeatedly stabbed Narendra. Shivam and Bunty tried to intervene, but they too were injured. The attackers fled towards Panipat on a black Splendor motorcycle.
Police and CIA team on the scene:
Gharaunda police station received information about the young man's death from the government hospital. The team immediately arrived at the scene and began an investigation.
Investigating officer Vipin Kumar stated that statements from friends have been recorded.
Preliminary investigations have confirmed the involvement of three unidentified youths.
Police are now examining CCTV footage from the dhaba and surrounding areas to identify the killers.
"Our son never quarreled with anyone":
The deceased's father, Vedpal, says, "Narendra was a hardworking boy. He worked as a bike repairman. He never quarreled with anyone. I don't understand what happened that led to his death."
Investigation underway, arrests claimed soon:
Police have registered a murder case and are searching for the suspects. CIA and police teams are conducting raids at several locations. Officials claim that the three killers will soon be in police custody.
