Chandigarh, November 28:- Haryana has left a unique mark with its cultural heritage in the International Film Festival (1-1 2025) held in Goa. Haryana's tableau, including traditional colours, folk dances, music, history and modern film achievements, not only won the hearts of the audience, but also deeply impressed the judging panel. As a result, the attractive and vibrant tableau of the state was honored with an award at the festival.
On the first day of the nine-day prestigious festival held in Goa from November 20 to 28, 2025, 28 participants presented their tableaus on different themes. Haryana presented its first grand state tableau in the opening parade of the International Film Festival of India. Under the guidance of Shri K. Makrand Pandurang, Director General, Information, Public Relations, Language and Art Culture Department, Haryana, Additional Director of the Department Shri Vivek Kalia and Joint Director Film Shri Neeraj Tuteja represented Haryana in the International Film Festival. The tableau prepared on the theme of Non-Stop Filmy Haryana provided the audience with a unique moving festival filled with the colors of Indian culture and cinema. Haryana's tableau attracted special attention from representatives, filmmakers and audiences from across the country and abroad. After the display of the tableaus at the International Film Festival, the top-5 achievers were honored with awards by the judging panel on November 28, 2025. These include Haryana, Andhra Pradesh, Homebell Movie Makers, Wax OTT and Zee Studios.
Special efforts being made to establish Haryana as a special attractive place for cinema background - K Makrand Pandurang
Shri K Makrand Pandurang, Director General of Information, Public Relations, Language and Art Culture Department, Haryana, congratulated and wished the officers and employees on this achievement. A film city is being built in Haryana, so that producers, directors come to the state and showcase the culture here through cinema, which will make Haryana's identity on the Vishesh Patal.
