Chandigarh, November 13 - Haryana Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shyam Singh Rana said that Har Ghar Chhat Yojana will prove to be a boon for the poor. The work of this scheme is to ensure that the poor person gets immediate benefits through Har Ghar Chhat.
Mr. Rana was speaking at the Har Ghar Chhat Yojana program in Yamunanagar today.
MLA Mr. Ghansham da Arora attended the event as a special guest. The program was led by Deputy Commissioner Mr. Parth Gupta. Certificates were distributed to the eligible beneficiaries by the Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister in the program.
During the program, he listened to the experiences of the eligible beneficiaries of Har Ghar Chhat. He said that governments are formed only for the welfare of the people and only with the suggestions of the people, the government makes plans and implements them for the people. He said that it is the responsibility of the elected representatives of the people to play their role in the welfare of the people. He appreciated the CSR cooperation of the district administration officials involved in the Har Ghar Chhat Yojana for this noble cause.
Mr. Shyam Singh Rana said that no eligible person should be deprived of this scheme under the Har Ghar Chhat Yojana. He suggested to the administration officials that they should work properly in the houses of the eligible persons under the Har Ghar Chhat Yojana whose houses collapsed during the rainy season. Because now there is more time to repair the houses. The houses in which there are cracks should be built from bottom to top and the roofs of the houses whose roofs have collapsed should be repaired properly so that the poor person can live comfortably with his family.
Yamunanagar Deputy Commissioner Partha Gupta said that the Har Ghar Chhat initiative is being implemented under Public Private Partnership (PPP). This will provide relief from the mental distress faced by poor families during the monsoon. With the support of the district administration and CSR, the roof and repair work of the houses of 100 eligible families has been completed in the district with financial assistance of about Rs 40 lakh. He said that the reason for starting the Har Ghar Chhat scheme was that poor people used to request in his office to build a house for themselves, get the roof of the damaged house repaired, etc., so he requested the cooperation of the reputed companies of the district in the Har Ghar Chhat scheme. Thanks to this, excellent work is being done on this scheme in the district.
