Hansi - A significant step is being taken towards making the Hansi Civil Hospital complex beautiful, clean, and lush green. Deputy Commissioner Rahul Narwal stated that nine parks—varying in size—will be developed within the Civil Hospital premises. To this end, the Horticulture Wing of the Public Works Department has prepared a detailed proposal estimating the cost at approximately ?20 lakhs. The proposal has been forwarded to the concerned officials for approval, and construction work on the parks will commence immediately upon receiving the necessary permission.
DC Rahul Narwal informed that an area of approximately 3,000 square meters within the hospital complex has been identified for the development of these parks. Under this initiative, nine attractive parks will be established at various locations across the premises, thereby fostering a clean, beautiful, and positive atmosphere within the hospital. He emphasized that providing a clean and green environment to patients, their attendants, and healthcare workers visiting the hospital is a top priority for the administration.
He further explained that these parks will feature high-quality green turf, alongside various types of ornamental plants, flower beds, potted plants, and creepers. To further enhance the aesthetic appeal of the parks, colorful seasonal flowers and shade-giving plants will also be planted, creating a natural and serene ambiance within the hospital complex.
The DC also mentioned that, with a view to ensuring the regular maintenance and irrigation of the parks, a proposal has been drafted to install a tube well within the Civil Hospital premises. Additionally, a pipeline of adequate length will be laid to ensure a smooth and consistent water supply to all the parks.
He stated that this project is not limited merely to beautification; rather, its objective is to provide visitors to the hospital with an environment that is both physically clean and mentally uplifting. An environment adorned with greenery and flowers has a positive impact on the mental well-being of patients and significantly enhances the overall image of the hospital complex. DC Rahul Narwal stated that the proposal regarding the construction of the parks has currently been sent to the Executive Engineer of the Public Works Department for approval. Subsequently, this proposal will be forwarded to senior officials of the Health Department through the Civil Surgeon, Hisar. As soon as administrative approval is received, the work on the construction and beautification of the parks will commence immediately.
He added that the district administration is continuously working to give public institutions in Hansi city a clean, green, and modern appearance, and these parks being developed within the Civil Hospital will prove to be a significant initiative in this direction.
