Ambala, February 22:- Today, the nursery wing of Police DAV Public School, Ambala city organized a colorful Grandparents Day program in which grandparents were invited. The children welcomed everyone by applying tilak and tying the sacred thread. The program started with the DAV song. The school principal, Dr Vikas Kohli, said that DAV was established on the values ??of Swami Dayanand Saraswati. DAV is being taken forward with his positive thinking.
He said that grandparents hold a special place in the family. They are the pillars of every family. They support everyone and teach us our traditions. This instills family values. Children love their grandparents very much and feel very safe with them. Elders bind families together and by following their path, children find the right path and progress. We should always respect them. They appreciated the performance of the children.
The children welcomed their beloved grandparents to God with a prayer. The nursery children sang a family song. They showed how children love their grandparents and become the pride of their home and family by following in their footsteps. The children further enlivened the atmosphere with Gujarati dance. The younger children presented a Giddha on a Punjabi song, showing the importance of their parents.
The children amazed everyone by performing various yoga asanas. The children gave a beautiful rendition of English songs. They also presented old songs beautifully. The children showed glimpses of colorful Punjab which created a truly entertaining and inspiring atmosphere. The life of Swami Dayanand Saraswati was beautifully depicted in the program.
The children put up a beautiful performance showcasing Indian culture. The winners of various competitions held throughout the year were felicitated with trophies by the Principal. Grandparents were happy to see their little grandchildren receiving awards. Dr. Kohli said that more than 400 children participated in this colourful programme.
