Santoshgarh/Una, March 23 (Rajveer Chopra): The closing ceremony of the Swadeshi Mela (Indigenous Fair), held at the NFL Stadium in Naya Nangal, concluded amidst a grand and enthusiastic atmosphere. On this occasion, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini graced the event as the Chief Guest.
During the ceremony, renowned singer Mamta Joshi captivated the audience with her melodious performance, providing ample entertainment for the gathered crowd.
In his address, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini paid a heartfelt tribute to the martyrdom of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev, bowing in reverence to their sacrifice. He called upon the youth to stay away from intoxicants and to come forward to eradicate social evils such as drug abuse from society. Furthermore, he inspired the youth to follow in the footsteps of these great revolutionaries and to work in the best interest of the nation.
A religious conference, organized alongside the Swadeshi Mela, featured detailed discussions on significant topics such as religious conversion, demographic shifts, and family enlightenment, witnessing active participation from devotees and the general public alike.
Within the fair, various food stalls, exhibitions of indigenous products, amusement rides for children, and other entertainment attractions remained key highlights and centers of attraction.
The event was spearheaded by Dr. Subhash Sharma, Vice President of the Punjab BJP, and was attended by several prominent political figures. Additionally, the presence of renowned singers from Punjab and members of the saint community lent a distinct cultural and devotional aura to the proceedings.
