Chandigarh, May 29:- Haryana Governor Prof. Asim Kumar Ghosh watched the special screening of the film Nalanda Mahavihar at Lok Bhawan here on Friday. Haryana First Lady Smt. Mitra Ghosh was also present on the occasion.
In his address on the occasion, Governor Prof. Asim Kumar Ghosh called this film an honest and commendable effort to preserve and promote the prosperous heritage of the country through the powerful medium of cinema. He said that Nalanda was not just an educational institution, but a world centre of knowledge. Which attracted thousands of scholars and seekers of knowledge from all over the world. It has been an eternal symbol of India's intellectual and cultural excellence.
The main objective of this film is to create awareness in the society and inspire people to reflect on the values ??that help in building a better, more responsible and harmonious society. He said that Nalanda Mahavihar presents a strong social message along with entertainment, which makes it an important film in view of its cultural significance and contemporary relevance.
The producer of this film is Mr. Deepak Diwan, while it has been directed by Mr. Arvind Gupta.
