Una, October 17:- The Ghanari-Changa Basti road in Ghanari village, under the Gagret subdivision, will remain temporarily closed to traffic for 30 days, from October 18 to November 17. The closure will cover the road stretch from kilometre 0/0 to 2/0. During this period, traffic will be diverted via the Ghanari-Nangal Jarialan Road.
Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal has issued orders in this regard under Sections 115 and 116 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.
The Deputy Commissioner stated that the orders have been issued to facilitate the timely and smooth execution of essential construction work on the road. He has directed the concerned officials to inform the public about the road closure and install advance signboards providing information about the traffic diversion.
