Fogging and drainage cleaning campaign started in Municipal Corporation Una.

Una, June 20- Municipal Corporation Una is running a special cleanliness and public health safety campaign in the city in view of the upcoming monsoon season. Under this campaign, fogging is being done to prevent mosquito-borne diseases and extensive cleaning of drainage system is being done to deal with the problem of waterlogging.
Commissioner and ADC of Municipal Corporation Una Mahendra Pal Gurjar informed that under the special fogging campaign, fogging work was done in Mini Secretariat Complex, District Magistrate Colony, Ward No. 9 and Santoshgarh Road area so that prevention of mosquito outbreak and seasonal diseases can be ensured.
Apart from this, proper cleaning of drainage lines, drains and drainage routes is being done to deal with the problem of waterlogging in the corporation areas so that water is drained smoothly during the rain and citizens do not face inconvenience.
The Municipal Corporation Commissioner has appealed to the city residents to maintain cleanliness in their homes and surrounding areas, not allow dirty water to accumulate and actively cooperate in the campaigns run by the Municipal Corporation to avoid mosquito-borne diseases so that the city remains clean, safe and healthy.
