Una, May 7:- Additional Deputy Commissioner Una, Mahendra Pal Gurjar, informed that in view of the Urban Local Body Elections-2026, the first-level checking of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) will be conducted on May 8 at 10:00 AM in the strong room located in the meeting hall on the fourth floor of the Deputy Commissioner’s office complex.
He stated that the technical inspection of the machines will be carried out by engineers from Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL). Representatives of all political parties have also been invited to observe the inspection process to ensure transparency throughout the procedure.
He appealed to representatives of all political parties to remain present at the designated venue and time to witness the checking process.
