Hansi: Regarding the preparations for the district-level Republic Day celebration to be held on January 26th in the premises of the Government College, DC Rahul Narwal reviewed the preparations in a meeting with officials from various departments at the local Public Works Department auditorium. In the meeting, DC Rahul Narwal stated that the district-level Republic Day celebration will be organized in the premises of the local Government College.
He gave clear instructions to the officials that the district's first district-level Republic Day celebration should be organized in a grand, well-organized, and dignified manner. Officials from all departments should seriously fulfill their respective responsibilities on time. DC Rahul Narwal said that Republic Day is a festival of pride for all of us. Therefore, quality, discipline, and coordination should be evident in every aspect of the celebration.
He instructed the education department officials to ensure that all cultural program teams are fully prepared by January 22nd, so that the cultural programs presented by the children are inspiring, filled with patriotism, and disciplined.
The Municipal Council was instructed to ensure cleanliness at and around the celebration venue, erect attractive welcome gates, and catch stray animals and take them to appropriate places. It was also emphasized that the general public should not face any inconvenience.
The Public Health Department was instructed to ensure adequate drinking water arrangements and proper provision of temporary toilets at the celebration venue. The police department was entrusted with the responsibility of maintaining security throughout the entire ceremony.
The DC also instructed the concerned officials to prepare and submit the list of officers, employees, and other individuals to be honored at the Republic Day celebration on time.
He said that the tableaux and rangoli (decorative patterns) should be of high quality, effectively presenting social concerns, national unity, and inspiring messages.
SDM Rajesh Khoth, Tehsildar Anil Kumar Bidhan, Naib Tehsildar Suresh Kumar, DSP Siddharth, and officials from various departments were present in the meeting.
