Haroli/Una, April 23 (Rajveer Chopra): The final *Ardas* (prayer ceremony) for the late Shri Bhagat Ram Ji was concluded with deep reverence and a spirit of detachment in his ancestral village, Mahal Khurd. On this occasion, a soulful *Kirtan* (hymn singing) was performed by the *Jatha* (group) led by Baba Kewal Singh, the Chief *Sevadar* (volunteer) of the holy shrine of Shri Khuralgarh Sahib, conveying a message to the congregation to connect with the teachings of *Gurbani*.
During the *Kirtan*, while shedding light on the precepts of *Gurbani*, he stated that every human being has three gurus: the first is the father, the second is the mother, and the third is the spiritual teacher (*Dharm Guru*) who imparts religious and moral education. Obeying the commands of these three is the fundamental duty of every individual. He further remarked that living a life of simplicity, engaging in hard work, and abstaining from intoxicants constitute the true purpose of human life. This world is akin to a transient fair; therefore, living one's life while performing good deeds represents the true way of living.
On this occasion, the contributions of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar were also remembered, and it was acknowledged that it is solely due to his efforts that the establishment of equality and rights within society has become possible today.
Shri Nikku Ram Janagal, President of the Shri Kanshi Ram Welfare Committee, paid tribute to the departed soul. Meanwhile, Shri Satish Lal, President of the Ambedkar Sabha, also shared his thoughts, expressing his condolences to the bereaved family and conveying a message to society to undertake extensive tree-plantation initiatives.
Finally, Shri Sandeep Singh Fauji extended his gratitude to all the relatives and members of the congregation present at the ceremony. Furthermore, on this occasion, the entire congregation collectively offered a voluntary contribution (*Seva Bhet*) of ?11,300 towards the *Kar Seva* (voluntary service) at the holy shrine of Shri Khuralgarh Sahib.
