Ferozepur, September 06:- During an anti-drug drive and checking of suspicious persons, the Railway Police achieved major success when a large quantity of unclaimed ganja was recovered near the railway yard area.
Giving information in this regard, it was stated that a police team led by ASI Surjit Singh was checking suspicious persons in the railway yard area. During the search, a light blue plastic bag lying unclaimed in the bushes near the railway tracks was spotted. Upon suspicion, when the bag was searched, contraband was recovered. 
After weighing it on a computerized scale, the total quantity was found to be 10 kg 64 grams of ganja. The police took the contraband into possession, registered Case No. 22 against an unknown accused, and further investigation in the matter is underway.
