Chandigarh- The people of Chandigarh, the capital of Punjab and Haryana, are fond of having expensive cars and fancy numbers. Chandigarhites have once again proven that they do not hesitate to spend lakhs and crores of rupees on expensive cars and fancy numbers. In the recent auction of fancy numbers held in Chandigarh, 0001 number was auctioned for Rs 22.58 lakh. During the same auction, 0007 number was auctioned for Rs 10.94 lakh.
The RLA of the UT administration has auctioned the fancy numbers of the new series CH-01-DB from October 29 to 31. During this, the UT administration has collected a revenue of Rs 2.71 crore from the auction of fancy numbers. It is worth mentioning that during the last auction of fancy numbers, the number 0001 was auctioned in Chandigarh for Rs 36 lakh.
