Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, July 7:- The Language Department, Punjab remains active for the development of other languages ??along with mother tongue Punjabi. Under this series, Urdu Amozh course has been started at the office of District Language Officer, SAS Nagar.
Giving information in this regard, Dr. Darshan Kaur Research Officer, SAS Nagar said that due to summer vacations during the month of June and reduced office hours, many aspirants of learning Urdu could not fill the admission form on time. In view of this, it has been decided to extend the last date of filling the admission form to 15 July 2026.
The admission and examination fee of this course is Rs. 500 in lump sum. The duration of this course will be 6 months and the class time will be 1 hour daily. There is no age restriction for admission in the course, any common citizen or government officer/employee can take advantage of it. Interested learners can obtain a free admission form from the office of the District Language Officer, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Room No. 518-A, 4th Floor, District Administrative Complex, Sector 76) on any working day and submit it by July 15.
