Una, February 4. District Panchayat Officer Una, Shravan Kumar, informed that the State Election Commission, Himachal Pradesh, has completed the process of revising the voter lists for the Gram Panchayat elections within the stipulated timeframe. He stated that the electoral rolls for 190 Gram Panchayats in Una district were published on February 3.  However, information regarding the proposals for the division/reorganization/creation of constituencies in 37 Gram Panchayats of Una district is still awaited from the Panchayati Raj Department. These include Gram Panchayats Beetan, Nangal Khurd, Lalri, Ispur, Bathu, Polianbeet, and Dullehra under Haroli Development Block; Gram Panchayats Katohad Kalan, Kalruhi, Hamboli, Nehri Nauranga, Chouar, Bhated, Diyara, and Behad Jaswan under Amb Development Block; Gram Panchayats Dhundla, Momaniyar, Thanakalan, Jol, Dhanet, Raipur, Tihra, Dehar, Chowki Khas, and Mandli under Bangana Development Block; Gram Panchayats Diyali, Ambota, and Bhanjal Lower under Gagret Development Block; and Gram Panchayats Jankaur, Nangal Salangri, Chatara, Basal Upper, Samur Kalan, Barnoh, Takka, Bangarh, and Bahdala under Una Development Block.
In addition, the division of Gram Panchayat Pandoga, the reorganization of Gram Panchayats Dhundla and Dhatol, and the inclusion of village Ritstarukha of Gram Panchayat Hatli Kesru into Nagar Panchayat Bangana have also been carried out. Therefore, currently, the draft voter lists for 190 Gram Panchayats in Una district have been published, excluding a total of 41 Gram Panchayats.
He further informed that verified copies of the voter lists will be available for free inspection by the general public during office hours at the respective Gram Panchayats, Panchayat Samitis, the office of the District Council Una, and the District Election Office Una.
