Santoshgarh/Una, April 6 (Rajveer Chopra): Under the joint aegis of the Himachal Pradesh State Scheduled Castes Commission and the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Welfare Society, Santoshgarh, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Jayanti will be celebrated with great enthusiasm and festivity on April 14 at the Guru Ravidas Temple in Santoshgarh. This information was shared by the Commission's Chairman and former Minister, Kuldeep Dhiman.
He stated that on this occasion, an awareness camp as well as a free health check-up camp will also be organized. The primary objective of the camp is to provide members of the Scheduled Castes community with information regarding the government's public welfare and social security schemes, and to address their grievances.
Kuldeep Dhiman remarked that, through such camps held across the state, the Commission is actively working to raise awareness among marginalized sections of society regarding their rights, entitlements, and opportunities. He appealed to as many people as possible to participate in this camp and avail themselves of its benefits.
Commission member Dr. Vijay Dogra noted that such camps play a pivotal role in empowering and fostering self-reliance among the vulnerable sections of society.
