Lucknow:- A double-decker bus going from Ludhiana to Darbhanga (Bihar) overturned on the Purvanchal Expressway at around 3:30 pm on Monday. Initial reports indicate that six people have died and 16 are injured.
It is being told that due to high speed, the bus lost control and overturned near Khema Khera village in Gosaiganj. This incident spread panic at the scene. Passers-by informed the police. The Gosaiganj police, which reached the scene of the incident, sent the injured to the local community health center with the help of an ambulance. Teams are engaged in relief and rescue operations. People said that the accident happened because the driver fell asleep.
