Hansi:- In order to realize the government's resolve of public interest and good governance, Deputy Commissioner Rahul Narwal heard the problems of the general public in the Samadhan Shivir organized at the District Secretariat and instructed the officers of the concerned departments to ensure disposal of every complaint with seriousness, sensitivity and within the stipulated time.
He said that Samadhan Shivir is an important public welfare initiative of the government, whose objective is to provide quick, transparent and effective solution to the problems related to various departments to the citizens at one place.
Deputy Commissioner Rahul Narwal said that as per the instructions of the Chief Minister, the main objective of Samadhan Shivirs being organized across the state is to establish direct communication between the general public and the administration and to ensure on-the-spot solution of people's problems. He told the officers that every complaint should not be considered as a mere formality but its seriousness should be understood and work should be done with full accountability in the process of solution. He clarified that negligence, unnecessary delay or apathy at any level will not be tolerated.
During the Samadhan Shivir, various complaints related to land and revenue matters, Kisan Credit Card, social security pension, Parivar Pehchan Patra, ration card, illegal encroachments, drainage, electricity supply, drain construction and Municipal Council were heard. The Deputy Commissioner took detailed information about each case from the officers of the concerned departments and issued necessary directions.
In the camp, on the complaints presented by Rajendra resident of Thurana, Kuldeep resident of Puria, Poonam resident of Dhani Kumharan, Mukesh Kumar resident of Narnaund, Amir Singh resident of Badala, Ashok Kumar resident of Sisay, Krishna Kumar resident of Data, Sandeep Singh and Mahavir Sahrawat, the Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned departments to take immediate necessary action. He said that solution of these complaints should be ensured on priority basis and information about timely action should also be made available to the complainants.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the real benefit of the governance schemes is possible only when the problems of the citizens are solved quickly and satisfactorily. He directed the officers that every complaint received in the Samadhan Shivir should be monitored regularly and pending cases should be disposed of quickly to provide relief to the general public.
He said that the district administration is fully committed to solving the problems of the general public and every officer should discharge his responsibilities with honesty and sensitivity, so that people's trust in the administration becomes even stronger.
