Una, December 4: A public hearing meeting regarding the Ekal Nari Shakti Sangathan was held on Thursday at the Savings Building, Una, chaired by Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal. Women from Haroli, Amb, Gagret, and Una blocks were present.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner listened attentively to the problems of the women associated with the Ekal Nari Shakti Sangathan and assured them of prompt resolution.
Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal stated that the district administration is providing special coaching facilities for poor children to prepare for higher education and competitive examinations, ensuring a secure and strong future for them in the field of education.
He also stated that the state government, through various departments, is implementing several public welfare schemes aimed at socially and economically empowering single women and integrating them into the mainstream.
The Deputy Commissioner assured all the women present that the district administration is committed to protecting their interests and welfare and will ensure speedy, transparent and effective solutions to their problems.
Rajni, Sonika, Neelam and Meena, associated with Ekal Nari Sangathan, were present on the occasion along with others.
