Hoshiarpur: Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain held a review meeting with officials from various departments at the District Administrative Complex today and thoroughly reviewed the progress of programs and schemes implemented by the departments. She specifically discussed matters, schemes, and pending work related to the Revenue Department and directed officials to complete all tasks in a timely and transparent manner.
During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain reviewed the current status of Easy Registration and Easy Jamabandi. She took a detailed review of the recovery related to stamp and registration and directed to expedite the recovery of pending land revenue dues. She emphasized the need to make Revenue Department services more accessible, accessible, and transparent for the public so that people do not face unnecessary difficulties.
The meeting also reviewed status reports on ongoing land acquisition cases, Khasra-wise mapping, timely submission of Utilization Certificates (UCs) for civil works, and complaints related to illegal mining. The Deputy Commissioner directed the officials to ensure that all matters are resolved within the stipulated timeframe.
Furthermore, the progress of ongoing development works under the District Mineral Foundation was also discussed in detail. The Deputy Commissioner directed the officials to complete these projects with quality and timeliness so that the general public can derive maximum benefit from them.
On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Nikas Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Amarbir Kaur, SDM Dasuha Kanwaljit Singh, SDM Mukerian Oashi Mandal, SDM Hoshiarpur Gursimranjit Kaur, Assistant Commissioner Parampreet Singh, District Revenue Officer Amandeep Chawla and other departmental officers were present.
