Hoshiarpur:- Giving information, Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain said that Sardar Bahadur Amin Chand Soni Armed Forces Preparatory Institute, Bajwara (Hoshiarpur), is an important institution established under the Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Department of the Government of Punjab. The main objective of this institution is to prepare the youth to become officers in the Indian Navy, Army and Air Forces.
She said that the institute will provide special training to the youth aspiring for graduate level admission in the armed forces through various competitive entrance examinations like CDS, AFCAT, OTA etc. The first course of this training program will start from the second week of July 2026.
The Deputy Commissioner said that for the preparation of the entrance examinations, 3 months of structured academic training and 3 weeks of SSB training will be given in the institute. This facility is available to boys and girls who have completed graduation as well as to those students who are currently studying in the final year of graduation.
Ashika Jain said that accommodation in the hostel and dining hall facility for food will also be available for the candidates. She said that the date of birth of the applicants should be after January 1, 2003 and it is mandatory to have secured at least 55 percent marks in graduation. Apart from this, the candidate should also be medically fit.
The Deputy Commissioner appealed to the eligible youth to make the most of this golden opportunity and said that interested candidates can fill the prescribed application form and send it to [email protected] on or before June 30, 2026.
