Una, October 21:- Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal held a meeting with officials of the concerned departments in the DRDA meeting room on Wednesday to prepare for the review by the Local Fund Accounts Committee of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly. He directed the officials to remain prepared with updated figures, reports and the necessary records related to audit paragraphs.
The Deputy Commissioner said that information regarding audit paragraphs concerning institutions covered by the Himachal Pradesh State Audit Department must be complete and properly organised. Reports should be prepared in the prescribed font and size and must include all necessary details so that the actual status of the cases can be clearly presented during the review.
The Local Fund Accounts Committee will hold a meeting with officials of the concerned departments at the District Council Hall on October 22 at 10 AM. The meeting will review audit paragraphs concerning institutions covered by the State Audit Department and their functioning over the past three years. CAG audit paragraphs relating to bodies under the Panchayati Raj and Urban Development departments will also be reviewed.
The Deputy Commissioner directed officials of the concerned departments to be present at the District Council Hall by 9:30 AM for the meeting.
It may be noted that the committee is chaired by MLA Sanjay Ratn. Its other members include Dr Hans Raj, Satpal Singh Satti, Inder Dutt Lakhanpal, Rakesh Jamwal, Sanjay Awasthy, Malender Rajan, Kuldeep Singh Rathore and Vivek Sharma (Vikku).
Additional Deputy Commissioner Ishant Jaswal, Assistant Commissioner Vinay Modi and officials from the concerned departments were also present at the meeting.
