New Delhi:- The ED team conducted raids in four states including Delhi, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh in connection with the Al-Falah University case. A case of money laundering was also registered against Al-Falah University. Raids continued at 30 places, including the former residence of the university chairman Jawad Ahmed in Mhow, the Al-Falah campus in Faridabad and the trust's office in Okhla.
So far, the NIA has arrested two people, who are alleged to be close associates of suicide bomber Dr. Umar Nabi. On November 10, 2025, a blast took place in a white Hyundai i20 car near Delhi's Red Fort metro station, killing at least 13 people and injuring several others. The blast was linked to a terror module. The NIA and Delhi Police are investigating the case.
Police investigation revealed that the people involved in the incident were doctors. Investigation revealed that the terrorist involved in the blast, Omar, was also a doctor and professor at Al Falah University. However, the university has denied these allegations. Furthermore, Al Falah said that its campus was not used for any terrorist activities.
