Nawanshahr:- Deputy Commissioner of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Gulpreet Singh Aulakh, on Tuesday held a high-level review meeting with petrol pump owners and LPG dealership holders to assess the availability and supply status of LPG cylinders, petrol, and diesel in the district. During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner held detailed discussions with the stakeholders and reviewed the current stock and daily supply status of essential cooking gas, petrol, and diesel.
He directed all petrol pump operators and gas agency holders to ensure uninterrupted and smooth supply of LPG, petrol, and diesel to the public without any hassle. Assuring that there is no shortage of any kind in the district, Mr. Aulakh appealed to the public not to indulge in unnecessary panic buying or hoarding of petrol, diesel, and LPG cylinders, as this could lead to an artificial scarcity and cause difficulties for the general public.
He also asked the dealers to maintain constant coordination with the district administration and ensure transparency in the distribution system so that essential commodities remain easily available to the people.
